TIPoT will be presenting demonstrations (Title: A Versatile Prototyping Platform for Monitoring and Control Applications using IPv6 over WSN) at the 14th Annual IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference. IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference, sponsored by IEEE Communications Society, is a major annual international conference organized with the objective of bringing together researchers, developers,…
We are very happy that our demonstration has been selected by The 14th Annual IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference to be presented at CES on January 7th. Please visit us at Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), South Hall 3, Booth#: 30546! For 50 years, CES has been the launch pad for new innovation and technology…
The ACS/IEEE International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA) is the premier conference covering all contemporary areas in computer systems and applications. TIPoT was honored to be invited to presented our products as effective R&D platform at AICCSA between November 29th to December 2nd, 2016. We conducted two special presentation and demonstration sessions, as…
Inspired by the open source initiative and to offer low-cost solution with non-constrained R&D flexibility, the TIPoT platform is developed based on free open source software, with the following notable features:
Low-cost hardware platform.
A variety of sensing and display accessories (current examples include light, temperature & humidity, sensing and LCD display).
Free, feature-rich Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
Free, feature-rich network protocol analyzer.
Open source operating system, Contiki (www.contiki-os.org), offers extensive design, research and development flexibility.
Arduino shield pinout compatible.
Software suite includes typical sensing, monitoring, and control application examples, as well as an end-to- end application framework, all using TCP/IPv6 protocol over IEEE 802.15.4.
Significantly lowers the cost for test/experimental R&D and/or prototyping on TCP/IPv6 over wireless sensor network.
Researchers at universities, colleges, government and industrial research institutions/labs
for implementing prototypes, establishing large-scale testbeds for experimental research and performance evaluation of applications, protocols, algorithms, as well as complete products, related to IoT and other relevant technologies
R&D engineers, science/technology enthusiasts, inventors, IoT device vendors, application developers, and service providers.
for the design of novel IoT devices, applications, services, and fast development of prototypes, final products and tools.
e.g. academic institutions and colleges, high schools, for classroom teaching, professional training, course projects, experiments, science fairs, etc.
Teaching and technical training in embedded system programming, embedded operating systems, wireless sensor networks, network protocols, and so on. (Lecture notes and lab materials coming soon…)
Hobbyists and makers
for developing various IoT applications and devices.
